Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to all purchases made on RashiDost (www.rashidost.in), operated by AY Ventures (Sole Proprietorship, Proprietor: Seema, GSTIN: 07DSCPS3642K1ZE).

1. Digital Services — Kundali Consultation & Astrology Services
Kundali consultation and astrology services are digital, service-based offerings delivered via WhatsApp and/or email. The following refund terms apply:
1.1 Before Service Delivery
- If you request cancellation before the Kundali report or consultation has been delivered, a full refund will be issued within 5–7 business days to the original payment source.
- To request cancellation, contact us at hello@rashidost.in or call 8595230892 with your Order ID.
1.2 After Service Delivery
- Once a Kundali report or digital consultation has been delivered (via WhatsApp or email), no refund will be issued — as the digital service has been fully consumed.
- Exception: If the report contains a material error attributable to RashiDost (such as the use of incorrect birth details entered by our team), the concern will be reviewed with utmost priority and we will either re-deliver a corrected report or issue a full refund at our discretion.
1.3 Non-Delivery
- If you have paid but have not received your Kundali report or consultation within 48 hours of payment confirmation, contact us immediately.
- If RashiDost is unable to deliver the service within a reasonable timeframe, a full refund will be issued within 5–7 business days.
- Non-delivery caused by an incorrect phone number or inactive WhatsApp account provided by the customer does not qualify for a refund. However, we will make reasonable efforts to reach you via alternative channels (email, SMS).
1.4 Scheduled Consultation Sessions
For consultation sessions with a scheduled time (e.g., a live call with an astrologer):
- Cancellation 24+ hours before the scheduled session: Full refund.
- Cancellation within 24 hours of the session: 50% refund of the consultation fee.
- No-show by the customer: No refund.
- If RashiDost is unable to provide the assigned astrologer and no suitable replacement is offered: Full refund within 5 business days.
2. Physical Products — Returns
RashiDost accepts return requests for physical products (gemstones, Rudraksha, bracelets) under the following conditions:
- Return request must be raised within 7 days of confirmed delivery.
- The product must be in its original, unused condition with all original packaging, pouches, and accompanying documents intact.
- Products that have been worn, used in rituals, energized externally, or damaged after delivery are not eligible for return.
- To initiate a return, contact us at 8595230892 or hello@rashidost.in with your Order ID and reason for return.
- Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless the return is due to an incorrect item dispatched by RashiDost.
3. Refund Process for Physical Products
- Once the returned product is received and inspected by our team, we will notify the customer within 3 business days.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment source (UPI, card, net banking, etc.) via Razorpay.
- Returns raised after 7 days of delivery, or items showing signs of use or handling, will not qualify for a refund.
- Original shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable.
4. Damaged or Incorrect Products
If you receive a damaged item or an item different from what was ordered:
- Notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the product and packaging.
- RashiDost will, at its discretion, arrange a replacement or issue a full refund.
- Claims raised after 48 hours of delivery may not be accepted.
5. Customer-Initiated Cancellation (Pre-Dispatch, Physical Products)
- Physical product orders can be cancelled by the customer within 6 hours of placement by contacting our support team.
- A cancellation handling fee of 20% of the order value will be deducted, and the remaining 80% will be refunded to the original payment source within 5–7 business days.
- Once 6 hours have elapsed from the time of order placement, or once the product has been dispatched (whichever is earlier), cancellation is not possible.
6. Cancellation by RashiDost
RashiDost does not impose any cancellation charge when it initiates a cancellation from its side. In such cases, a full refund will be processed within 5–7 business days.
7. Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstance:
- Products that have been worn, used, or altered in any way.
- Products where original packaging or accompanying documents have been discarded.
- Custom-curated or personalised product orders.
- Completed Kundali reports or digitally delivered astrological documents (except as stated in Section 1.2).
- Products purchased during sales, festivals, or promotional events (unless received damaged or incorrect).
8. Refund Method
All refunds are processed to the original payment method (UPI, credit/debit card, net banking, wallet) via Razorpay. Refund processing timelines depend on the payment method and your bank or payment provider. Typical timelines:
- UPI: 1–3 business days
- Debit/Credit Card: 5–7 business days
- Net Banking: 5–7 business days
- Wallet: 1–3 business days
9. Consumer Rights Under Indian Law
Nothing in this policy limits or overrides your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. You retain the right to seek redressal for defective goods or services that do not match their description, regardless of the return window stated above.
